I love watching the The Oscars every year. It's like a holiday. The nominated films this year are so relevant and powerful and I was mostly thrilled by all of the winners.
The most touching and significant acceptance speech was given by Dustin Lance Black, who wrote the original screenplay for Milk.
He broke my heart, but also filled me with hope that with time comes change and the possibility for acceptance.
