The BF and I have been hiking at Lake Hodges and are having a great time. We have been making an effort to find fun and healthy activities that are free and eco-friendly.
We get to see the beautiful lake, plants, cactus and wild creatures. Thankfully, we haven't come across any snakes or animals that might want to eat us. Phew!
We start our hike out here...
and I remind myself to keep going so we can see this...
The picture is beautiful, but it isn't even a close 2nd to the real thing.

ReplyDeleteJust came across your blog and the "Lake Hodges" got my attention. You are correct. That is a beautiful lake. (when it is full.) Until six years ago, we lived in the homes above the lake. (Lomas Serenas) I hiked around many of the areas you talk about.
